Settling In (Puck)

[Bonnie Bennett]

Bonnie took the twenty minute drive into the town, going to her grandma's house. Of course there was no surprise that the place was empty. She got out of the car and made her way to the house, taking her key out of her purse and unlocking the doors. She left the door slightly open and walked inside to turn the lights on. She hadn't been in the house in awhile, but it still held a lot of memories there. She tried not to dwell on it as she went into the kitchen, knowing she'd probably make a run to the store to stock up on some food for the place.

[Puck]

He looked around. It was a nice little place. He liked it. "You sure it's okay for me to stay here?" he asked to make sure. This was a family house. He didn't want to run in on that.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Positive, my gram's practically left it to me when she passed. I really only come here to read up on some family stuff, other than that, it's not in use." She said, coming out of the kitchen with a full on list in her hand. "I'll show you to the guest room, it has a connected bathroom."

[Puck]

He nodded. "Great...I need a shower." he chuckled.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"You do that and I'll get some sheets and stuff for the bed." She said, leading him upstairs and leading him into the room. "There should be some towels in there already."

[Puck]

"Thanks...and sometime tomorrow, think you could show me around town?" he asked smoothly.

[Bonnie Bennett]

She fought the urge to swoon at his voice, quickly getting herself together.

"Uh..yeah, sure." She said, also trying to hide the excitement in her voice.

[Puck]

"Awesome...I'm gonna go ahead and shower. I'll be quick." he said smiling as he went into the bathroom.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Okay." She said, leaving the room to go to one of the cabinets in the hall. She figured she had enough time to set up the bed and get the room set up a bit more, before he got out of the shower. She came back into the room with a few more pillows, a comforter, and some sheets.

[Puck]

Puck never showered long because he didn't really have any hair to wash. It took him maybe 5-10 minutes. He wrapped a towel around his waist loosely and walked out of the bathroom, still damp and towel now really on him well. "That felt amazing." he grinned.

She was on the side of the room parallel to the bathroom, so when he came out, she noticed him right away. She stopped tucking the sheets in the bed and looked at him...well his abs.

Oh my god... She thought to herself and eyes traveled lower to the towel that hung around him loosely.

"I..uh...you..." She began to stutter. "...I'll go." She finished. "Sorry...uh..." She then blushed as she left the unfinished bed and started to make her way out of the room.

[Puck]

"What? You alright?" he asked, walking over to her. He wasn't used to having to cover himself in a long time so as he walked over, his towel fell off. "You feeling okay?"

[Bonnie Bennett]

"You...uh..." She drifted off and she blushed even more when the towel fell of. He was hot...really, hot. "I..uh..." She couldn't even finish a sentence, but adverted her eyes off of him.

[Puck]

"Yeah? I what?" he said as she looked away. Then he looked down. "Oh god...I'm so sorry." he said, scrambling to cover himself. "There...all good again."

[Bonnie Bennett]

She bit her lip and looked down, her hair covering her face a bit.

"A little..." She said softly. "I'll..uh..give you some privacy." She said, not that she really wanted cause she fully enjoyed the view.

[Puck]

"Oh, no big deal." he said as he sorted through his stuff and pulled out his boxers. He slipped them on under the towel. "Alright...no harm, no foul."

[Bonnie Bennett]

Bonnie was quite sure her face had returned to it's normal color and looked up at him.

"I don't always babble like an idiot like that." She said.

[Puck]

"Okay...you sure you're feeling okay?"

[Bonnie Bennett]

"I feel a little bit...hot, but I'll be fine." She said.

[Puck]

"You're not getting sick right?" he asked, placing the back of his hand to her forehead, getting close to her.

[Bonnie Bennett]

Bonnie shook her head, her breathing hitched for a moment as she felt him get close to her.

[Puck]

"you do feel a little warm...maybe swimming at night in the ocean isn't the best thing for you." he chuckled.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"I don't think it was the swimming." She said softly. "...never mind, I'll be okay." She moved away from a bit to get herself together.

[Puck]

"Hey...what's up? We're friends now...you can tell me." he assured her.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"It's nothing...it's stupid." She said.
