A Nice Surprise (Puck/Bonnie)

It was Friday so he and Bonnie would have the weekend together. So while she was at school, he got some stuff ready. He told her he'd be doing job interviews and stuff all afternoon so he wouldn't be able to see her until the evening. In the meantime he'd make her some dinner, set a little atmosphere, and even dance a little with her. He wanted to really romance her...the right way.

He made her some spaghetti, garlic bread, picked up a cheesecake from the store. He also worked up a little surprise with the stereo and he couldn't wait until she came over.

Bonnie had come over later on that evening, figuring she'd give Puck some time to settle in after his long day. She was dressed in a bit casually, but of course wanted to doll it up a bit since she was seeing Puck. She drove up to the house and got out of the car.

She knocked on the door before she walked inside, using the keys. "Puck?" She asked, immediately smelling the food once she got inside. "Oh wow...something smells delicious."

"Hey." he smiled, going over to her and kissed her. "How was your day?"

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Long, as usual. Got dragged into helping out with some stuff after school." She replied. "How was your day? How did the job hunting go, any luck?"

[Puck]

"Um...I submitted a few applications." he shrugged. "I made us some dinner...I hope you're hungry."

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Starving actually and I'm sure you'll hear something soon." She said.

[Puck]

He nodded. "Well then right this way." he said, leading her to the table.

Bonnie followed him to the kitchen and her eyes widened at all he set up.

"Puck...you did all of this?" She asked.

[Puck]

He nodded. "Yeah..." he said, smiling a little sheepishly.

"Thank you...everything looks perfect."

[Puck]

He smiled as he began to put the food on plates for them.

"I'm still in shock that you did all of this, it was really sweet of you."

[Puck]

"I wanted to...especially when I almost hurt you..."

[Bonnie Bennett]

"I never held that against you, I know you couldn't control it." She said.

[Puck]

"I know...but I still wanted to do this for you."

[Bonnie Bennett]

"I appreciate it, this was really nice. Wasn't expecting it at all and I love your cooking." She said.

[Puck]

"Thank you. I have another surprise for you...but that's after we eat."

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Oooh more surprises. I'm just getting spoiled tonight."

[Puck]

"You deserve it."

[Bonnie Bennett]

"I still wish I could do something for you in return."

[Puck]

"You being with me is enough."

[Bonnie Bennett]

She smiled widely at that. "I love being with you, so I don't mind at all."

"You do?" he asked with a grin as they sat down to eat.

[Bonnie Bennett]

"Of course I do. I always have a great time with you and you're such a sweet and amazing guy."

He blushed a bit.
