He nodded with a slight groan and laughed before a few girls came over.

"Hi...so...you're the new guy, right?" one of them giggled.

"Are you gonna join the football team?"

"Why don't you come sit with us?"

Puck just blinked a bit. "Uh...thanks, but no...I'm just fine...I'm sitting with my girlfriend Bonnie...you guys know her?" he smiled.

"Oh...yeah...hi." she said with a fake smile.

"So come on...why don't you come and sit with us?"

Bonnie quirked an eyebrow at the girls, she didn't know them too well. It was a small town and yeah everyone knew of one another, but she wouldn't consider them her friends, not even an acquaintances. But there persistence was slightly annoying.

She returned the fake smile with one of her own and waved a bit at them.

Puck glanced over at Bonnie, who didn't look too happy. "Look, uh...I appreciate it, but Bonnie and I would like to eat together." he smiled politely.

"Why? I mean what does she have that we don't?"

"Yeah...you look way too cool to be seen with...her."

He arched his eyebrow. Now they were just getting catty.

Bonnie's jaw tightened at the girls words. "I think you have his answer. He's fine...with me." She said, her tone probably a bit different than what it normally would sound like.

They just scoffed and finally Puck had enough. "Look...I had to deal with skanks like you at my old school...I thought I wouldn't have to when I came here, but I guess not...but I got lucky with a beautiful, classy girl like Bonnie. So...bye bye." he smiled as he put his arm around Bonnie protectively.

Bonnie didn't even notice Puck's arm go around her. She was still pissed and tensed. She was trying to focus her attention elsewhere cause if she didn't, her powers could go off in a bad way.
