Testing Limits (Puck)

Things had been a lot better between her and Puck since he flipped out. He seemed to be making great strides in trying to contain his anger while they worked everything out. Things were good and it was as if nothing had happened. Which was fine with her, she hated when there was a riff between her and Puck.

Bonnie was getting ready to go to class and was at her locker, putting away her books and going to grab some others when she saw saw someone lean against the locker beside her. She turned her head and raise an eyebrow a bit curiously as one of the football players, John stood beside her.

"Can I...help you..." She asked, closing the locker and turning to face him. Probably had to do with a rally or something.

"I'd hope so, Bennett." John replied with a slight smirk as he moved closer to Bonnie.

Bonnie put her bag over her shoulder and looked at him a bit puzzled. "With...?"

"Well..I was thinking. You know...you and me...could..hang out, if you get what I mean." John said.

"John, that's nice. But I'm with Puck. You know this." Bonnie said, trying not to roll her eyes as she walked past him.

"Mhm, sure you are. He doesn't need to know. We can just have a little fun." He said, following close behind her.

"Thanks, but no thanks." Bonnie said before she looked a bit stunned as she backed up against a locker.

"C'mon....it'll be fun, Bonnie. You deserve to have a good time." John said, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.

Puck was running a little late but he saw Bonnie at her locker...with someone else. It was John from the football team. And he was seriously hitting on Bonnie. Puck took a deep breath as he approached them. "Hey baby." he smiled, kissing her cheek. "And...John...what are you doing?" he asked coolly as he put his arm around Bonnie's shoulders.

"Hey Noah.." Bonnie said, feeling a bit relieved that he was there and didn't automatically get angry with what was going on.

"Nothing, Bonnie and I were just..talking." John replied, not taking his eyes off of Bonnie.

"Talking, huh?" he asked, pulling her close. "Dude...I'm talking to you now so it'd be nice if you look at me and not my girlfriend."

"Mmm...no, it's okay...I think I'm gonna stay." he smirked. The only thing keeping him calm was Bonnie being there.

John's eyes studied Puck for a moment before going back to Bonnie. "You know she's a big girl, she doesn't need you around her all of time."

"Think I'm fine where I am at." Bonnie said, looking up at him with a smile.

John looked at the two before rolling his eyes. "Whatever, she's not even worth it..." He said, shaking his head before walking away.

He smirked. "Yeah...keep telling yourself that." he said a bit more like a snap before glancing down at Bonnie. "You alright?"

He smiled. "Of course." he said, stealing a kiss. "I'm just glad he left when he did...I got very close to clocking him a good one."

Bonnie moved so that her arms went around. "Well, I'm glad you didn't and stayed calm, babe."

He smiled. "thank you..." he said, holding her close and kissed her. "How about...we go get some ice cream to celebrate?"
