Something Unexpected (Damon)

[Buffy Summers]

Buffy decided to do a little patrolling, but not at the cemetery. She felt something odd around the hospital area and she decided to stake it out there. She hid in the shadows nearby, waiting for any weird behavior or people buying blood. So far, it seemed quiet, but she'd wait all night if she had to.

[Damon Salvatore]

Damon leaned against the doorway of the hospital, talking to a young nurse who was on patrol that evening. He was talking extremely low and close to her, in order to compel her. Every once in awhile playing his looks to his advantage to make sure the young girl fell for it. And as usual, the compelling work and the girl fell for it.

He looked around before following the girl inside and over to the blood bank.

[Buffy Summers]

She watched the guy intently and then her senses were going berserk. She ran and stepped in between them, stepping in the doorway. "Hi, yeah...we're not interested, so...just head back inside and do your job." she smiled. The nurse scurried back in as Buffy looked Damon up and down. "So...tall, dark, and undead..." she smirked.

Damon eyed the blonde, mad that she distracted the young girl long enough to let what he did to her wear off.

"Well aren't we feisty, blondie." He said, before shaking his head. "Now, let's play nice..." He said his eyes gazing into hers as he tried to compel her.

[Buffy Summers]

She decided to play along and while she looked into his eyes, she pulled out her stake and moved to kill him.

[Damon Salvatore]

Damon shook her head, quick to react and grabbed the hand with the stake, stopping her.

"Tsk, tsk, blondie. Have to make things difficult." Damon said.

[Buffy Summers]

"It wouldn't be difficult if you would just let me stake you." she said before punching him hard in his face, getting him to let go so she could charge and stake him this time.

[Damon Salvatore]

Damon quirked an eyebrow at the woman, the punch did little to nothing to him.

"And I'd do that because? Look, blondie, I don't want to hurt a girl but you're making this really hard for me." He said as he grabbed her and pushed her against the nearest wall.

[Buffy Summers]

"Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you." she said, headbutting him to get him off of her.

[Damon Salvatore]

He grunted, staggering back from the head butt. He shot her a harsh look before he went at her again, his hands at her throat.

"Look...just let me do my thing and I will let you go."

[Buffy Summers]

"Look, let me go and let me do my thing!" she grunted, grabbing the hand on her throat and twisting it away. While his arm was away, she went to stake him again.

[Damon Salvatore]

He sighed, hiding the wince from when she twisted his arm. He shook his head before grabbing the arm with the stake to stop her.

"And your thing is to kill me, uh no. Sorry, blondie." He said before grabbed the stake from her and released his arm. The power shift between them, intriguing him a little bit.

[Buffy Summers]

She had to get the stake back, or figure out a way to take his head off. "By the way...if you're gonna call me anything, you could call me Slayer...Blondie? Seriously?" she rolled her eyes as she threw a powerful roundhouse kick to his midsection.

[Damon Salvatore]

He was about to respond but instead, grunted from the kick, keeling over to recover. He coughed for a moment and rose up after a few moments. He broke the stake in half and tossed it aside, with none too pleased look on his face.

[Buffy Summers]

"Aww...you broke my stake." she pouted. "That's okay...I can improvise." she said, going back on the offensive.

[Damon Salvatore]

"Ah, more toys to bring out? It's okay, I can break those too."

[Buffy Summers]

"Who said I need toys?" she smirked.

[Damon Salvatore]

"Hands on, I like it." Damon said with a similar smirk on his face.

[Buffy Summers]

"Oh I'm sure you'd love that...especially since you probably haven't had a woman's hands on you in long time." she smirked right back.

[Damon Salvatore]

"My...my..aren't you a sharp one. But we both know not even you believe what you just said."

[Buffy Summers]

She rolled her eyes. "Trust me...I've seen...and had much better." she said, landing a spinning heel kick.

[Damon Salvatore]

He ducked, catching on quickly to how Buffy played.

"Ah, my dear. Think you can just catch me off-guard again, huh?"

[Buffy Summers]

She was a little thrown off that he ducked, but when she landed, she swept his legs out from under him with her feet. She saw a piece of the stake and grabbed it before straddling him to stake him.

[Damon Salvatore]

He hit the ground with a thud and glanced up at her as she straddled him. He noticed the stake, but wasn't going to react to it until she did.

"Nice view from down here." He said.

[Buffy Summers]

"Thanks, nice view from up here too." she said as she cocked her arm back to stake him at full force.
