She nodded. "Well...I have my younger sister...Dawn." she started. "But it turns out...that these monks had this power source thing...a key." she said, trying to make it make sense. "And they hid it...and they knew that I would protect it and I had the power to protect from this demon god, Glory." she explained.

"Well they put it into a human being...my little sister. But she wasn't...real. She was created to be the key. And these monks put the memory of her into me, my mom, my friends, everyone. But...she's still my sister. It didn't matter to me that she was put here for just being the key. I love her very much. And because she was placed on this earth as my sister, we share the same blood." she explained. "And it was her blood that was the key that opened the portal to the apocalypse. But her blood is my blood...so I jumped in. And it's how I died the second time around."

[[and actually when Joss Whedon suddenly wrote in that Buffy had a sister, this is how he made it up to us fans lol
