She blinked, surprised by how honest he was. She just smiled. "No, I understand...I actually like the idea of being...yours. I was a bit scared that you didn't want that." she admitted. "I want to be with you too...very much."

"It's alright...I was more surprised than anything...I almost thought you were drunk too." she chuckled. "But...I want you...with me..." she said, interlacing their fingers together. "If it makes you feel better, I can fed ex the ring back home to my sister." she offered.

Damon looked down at his hands that were in hers and then up at him. "Could you? Or is that too much?"

She shook her head. "I wouldn't have offered if it was too much." she said, excusing herself and going to her room. She returned shortly with the simple ring. "Here it is...gonna get it fed ex-ed first thing in the morning." she said, putting it on top of her outgoing mail pile.

"Is there anything else you want to get out in the open while we're on the subject?"

Damon groaned a little, feeling her hands all over him. He didn't want to break the kiss to take off her shirt, but his hands continued to roam and touch her smooth skin as they moved towards her chest.
